Requesting Busing / Transportation

If you need to request busing for a primary or alternate address, please follow these steps (in this order) for your request to be processed in a timely fashion.

1. Email [email protected] with:

✅ The name of the student
✅ The complete address that needs to be added/updated
✅ Whether this is a primary or alternate address.

2. Complete the Transportation Request Form. 

Please note: this process can take up to 5 business days during busy times. Please submit your request early and have patience with transportation staff.

Once your address has been updated in PowerSchool, it takes 24 hours for the information to be received by BusPlanner.

Unfortunately, the school has no control over busing so all busing questions or concerns need to be reported to the bus office and not the school.

Have you moved to REC's catchment area and have a child going to attend REC?

Please call the school at 902-758-4660 ext 2032 or email [email protected] to set up an appointment to come in to register your child.

You will need to bring along the following:

✅ Your child's birth certificate or passport;
✅ Immigration or Permanent Residency documents (if applicable);
✅ Your child's MSI health card;
✅ Proof of your civic address; and
✅ Your child's last report card.
